Susanna Harrison is an illustrator based in Australia. After completing a Bachelor of Design at Newcastle University she first started working in advertising, and soon her illustration skills were being utilized in the stationery and textiles design industries. As her own personal style developed she started freelancing and has been a full-time illustrator for over 15 years. Past projects have included work for magazines, newspapers, and commercial artwork, most recently she has illustrated books for Smith Street Books and Random House NY and has been a regular illustration contributor with The Wall Street Journal.

Her work is bold and color-filled and is a reflection of the world around her. From drag queens and late-night bookstores, to young fashionistas and portrait work, Susanna digs deep into the beautiful layers around all of us, and loves nothing better than discovering the worlds and passions of clients far and wide.

When she’s not drawing or running around with her family, Susanna can be found recharging at the beach, cooking, walking her greyhound or browsing for vintage finds.
